Dangerous Goods Regulations Awareness
Dangerous Goods Regulations training requirements are stipulated in the ICAO’s Technical Instructions (TI) and IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR). State regulations concerning dangerous goods training also refer to these sets of rules.
The UAE General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) emphasizes the necessity that personnel who are directly or indirectly involved in the transportation chain of dangerous goods by air must be trained commensurate to their job functions.
To take this initiative further, AVGO Express Training is pleased to offer a one-day Dangerous Goods Regulations (Awareness) training covering a wide range of topics to achieve compliance with various legislation applicable to the carriage of dangerous goods.
This is designed to provide Dangerous Goods Awareness training to companies where a part of their inventory is classified as dangerous goods. It is suitable for carriers or subcontract service providers, loaders, packers, and drivers responsible for the domestic or international consignment of such goods.
It shall demonstrate compliance with the legal obligations of the organization and raise awareness to prevent incidents and accidents that could lead to a catastrophic situation.
